Keith McMasters has been fascinated with the American West since his early youth. Growing up on the Washington-Idaho border near the Nez Perce Indian Reservation in a western environment, he had the opportunity to witness first hand, a culture so rich in heritage that it has been captured in his mind for decades.

Coupled with his love for art that also began at an early age, Western Art was a natural attraction for Keith. He felt himself inspired by artists and their works of art expressing the different interpretations of the West’s native peoples, it’s settlers, it’s landscapes and it’s unique wildlife. That fascination with the Great American West and those inspiring portrayals led Keith, self-taught, to start sculpting about 25 years ago.  Since resigning from a career in the ski industry to sculpt full time in 1999, he has won several awards for his work. McMasters, is also a partner in ISO ART, LTD, whose Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Studio can be found on Main Street in downtown Hamilton, MT.

Keith's work can be found in collections throughout the US and abroad.

As a full time award-winning sculptor, Keith lives with his wife Mira at their Red Crow Camp in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley of western Montana.
